Belize Dive Instructors & Divemasters
The Dive Center at Robert's Grove resort, a 5 star member of PADI Int'l Resort Assn, is the newest of just a handful of dive centers currently operating out of Placencia. As a result, our dive center is fully equipped with brand-new, top-of-the-range Oceanic equipment - tried, tested and trusted.
We also pride ourselves on being safety conscious and environmentally aware.
The Inn's Dive Center is staffed by experienced PADI divemasters and instructors and several licensed boat captains and snorkeling guides. We have a fleet of dive boats, including a 48-foot Pro Dive Boat, equipped with 3 engines and combined 1100 horsepower, and two 30-foot dive boats, each with two Honda fourstroke 130-HP engines.
Francisco Linarez is the head of Robert's Grove PADI Int'l Dive Center, where he serves as both a dive instructor and master scuba diver trainer.
Francisco became a dive instructor in 1997 while working in the dive operation at Rum Point Inn. Since then he has expanded his diving education with qualifications in multiple specialty courses including:

The dive center is extremely safety conscious and environmentally aware. Our boats are equipped with life preservers, flares, VHF marine radios and cell phones. We also carry oxygen on all the boats and our Dive Center staff is medically trained in first aid, CPR and oxygen delivery. We also have a local protocol system in place in the event someone should experience decompression illness. Additionally, the dive center has a pure air system set up that encourages pure compress breathing air. Our air is checked quarterly by Trace Analytics, Inc., of Austin TX.
